From November 1, unknowns have withdrawn the remaining funds on one of Finiko’s wallets, totaling 750 BTC ($48.8 million at the time of writing). reported<\/a> by YouTube blogger Andrey Alistarov.<\/p>\n

Three 250 BTC transactions<\/a> went to one wallet. The last of them is dated November 10.<\/p>\n

“They withdrew the last 250 bitcoins, which is about a billion rubles, and again to the same account,” Alistarov said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

According to the Crystal Blockchain analytics service, the address to which the funds were received forwarded them to a wallet owned by the Huobi exchange. Subsequently, the sums were split into smaller amounts and transferred to other addresses.<\/p>\n

Andrey Alistarov suspects that Finiko’s co-founders Marat and Edward Sabirov, as well as Zygmunt Zygmuntowicz, are behind the transfers.<\/p>\n

“They are transferring in parts, most likely afraid of a block. Why they have not been blocked yet is unclear, since they have long been marked as a scam. One thing is clear\u2014the money is being cashed out at the moment,” added<\/a> he.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

An official criminal case has been opened against Finiko for large-scale fraud<\/a>. The central office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, together with the Organized Crime Investigation Department, is handling it.<\/p>\n

In early October, founder Kirill Doronin, who remained under arrest, and three of his associates Ilgiz Shakirov, Lilia Nurieva and Dina Gabdullina (Akhmetzyanova) were transferred to Moscow<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Co-founders of the pyramid Edward and Marat Sabirov, as well as Zygmunt Zygmuntowicz, have been declared on international arrest warrant and arrested in absentia<\/a>. According to investigators, they left Russia via Belarus and may be in the United Arab Emirates.<\/p>\n

The total damage from Finiko’s activities, according to independent estimates, exceeds $4 billion<\/a>. The number of victims is no less than 850,000 people.<\/p>\n
