Its holdings will comprise shares of blockchain-related companies.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Interesting, Grayscale filing for a &#8220;Future of Finance ETF&#8221; (GFOF) which will track blockchain type stocks it looks like.. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/Rp3v38xRYd\">pic.twitter.com\/Rp3v38xRYd<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Eric Balchunas (@EricBalchunas) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/EricBalchunas\/status\/1456732580330582020?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 5, 2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The instrument will carry the ticker GFOF [from Grayscale Future of Finance ETF].<\/p>\n<p>The index tracks Bloomberg Index Services Limited, comprising the shares of companies whose activities intersect at the triad of finance, technology and digital assets.<\/p>\n<p>The index includes the shares of firms connected with:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>buying, selling and facilitating transactions in digital assets;<\/li>\n<li>mining cryptocurrencies;<\/li>\n<li>developing the infrastructure for building <span data-descr=\"decentralized applications\" class=\"old_tooltip\">dapps<\/span>;<\/li>\n<li>creating technical solutions to advance the digital asset ecosystem.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>GFOF is expected to be a passive managed ETF.<\/p>\n<p>On October 19, Grayscale <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/dcg-chief-confirms-plans-to-convert-grayscales-bitcoin-trust-into-an-etf\">filed<\/a> Form 19b-4 with the <span data-descr=\"Securities and Exchange Commission\" class=\"old_tooltip\">SEC<\/span> to convert the Bitcoin Trust into a spot ETF under the ticker BTC. The decision followed <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/trading-starts-for-proshares-first-us-bitcoin-futures-etf\">the start of trading<\/a> of the first futures-based ETF on the first cryptocurrency.<\/p>\n<p>The trust is Grayscale&#8217;s largest. As of November 5, its assets under management stood at $39.7 billion.
