Solana Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners and FTX have announced the creation of a $100 million fund to invest in startups developing blockchain games. The announcement was reported by Yahoo Finance<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\\n\\n<\/p>\n

Presumably, under the initiative, teams that integrate existing and forthcoming games into the Solana network will receive financial support. This will enable in-game economies based on NFTs<\/span> and blockchain payments.<\/p>\n

The collaboration has already led to the first investments: FTX and Lightspeed co-led a financing round of $21 million for the game studio Faraway.<\/p>\n
