The development was announced <a href=\"https:\/\/allaboutcelsius.com\/recent-launches-on-celsius-network\/\">on the company\u2019s website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>GK8 is positioned as a cold-storage platform for financial institutions, supporting a range of crypto assets, decentralised applications and staking.<\/p>\n<p>The Israeli startup&#8217;s founders\u2014Lior Lamesh and Shahar Shama&#8217;i\u2014previously worked as cybersecurity experts at the Prime Minister&#8217;s Office of Israel.<\/p>\n<p>The deal was worth $115 million.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in October, Celsius Network <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/celsius-network-raises-400-million-amid-regulatory-scrutiny\">attracted $400 million<\/a>. Following the round, the company&#8217;s valuation exceeded $3 billion.<\/p>\n<p>The financing round took place amid accusations in the US that the platform sold unregistered securities.
