The price of the set is 5,888 ETH ($25.6 million at the time of writing).<\/p>\n<p>In 2017, local authorities <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dmv.ca.gov\/portal\/file\/special-interest-license-plates-application-reg-17-pdf\/\">\u0440\u0430\u0437\u0440\u0435\u0448\u0438\u043b\u0438<\/a> owners of license plates their resale. In California, license plates use from two to seven characters \u2014 two are the rarest, and repeating characters are especially valued.<\/p>\n<p>The MM plate, according to its dedicated <a href=\"https:\/\/mmplate.com\/f\/how-is-all-this-possible\">site<\/a>, is literally &#8220;one in a million&#8221;, given the total number of registered vehicles in the state (35 million).<\/p>\n<p>On the back of the plate is printed a QR code of a non-fungible token.
