Bloomberg reports.<\/p>\n<p>Details of the advertisement and the deal size were not disclosed. Bitcoin exchange CEO Sam Bankman-Fried said the move was aimed at reaching a wide audience.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cThroughout this year we have said that cryptocurrency is safe, accessible and ready for mass adoption. There is no larger and more widely attended event where such a message could be shared than the Super Bowl,\u201d the publication quotes Fried.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The game is scheduled to be played on February 13, 2022 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The Super Bowl is the most-watched program of the year on American television \u2014 the previous game drew about 96 million viewers.<\/p>\n<p>According to Bloomberg, in 2021 the cost of a 30-second advertisement during the broadcast was $5.5 million. For the upcoming game NBC raised the price to $6.5 million.<\/p>\n<p>On October 27 the exchange announced a collaboration with MLB player David Ortiz. Later it announced plans to create <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/ftx-to-launch-nft-marketplace-focused-on-sports-and-entertainment\">an NFT marketplace focused on sports and entertainment<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In October, FTX closed a Series B-1 funding round of <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/ftx-raises-420-million-at-a-25-billion-valuation\">$420.69 million<\/a>.
