{"id":51063,"date":"2021-10-12T17:01:39","date_gmt":"2021-10-12T14:01:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/?p=51063"},"modified":"2025-09-02T21:41:36","modified_gmt":"2025-09-02T18:41:36","slug":"binance-sets-up-a-1-billion-fund-to-develop-the-bsc-ecosystem","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/binance-sets-up-a-1-billion-fund-to-develop-the-bsc-ecosystem\/","title":{"rendered":"Binance sets up a $1 billion fund to develop the BSC ecosystem"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The cryptocurrency exchange Binance announced the launch of a $1 billion fund to develop and support the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) ecosystem.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">It&#8217;s time to accelerate <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/BinanceSmartChain?src=hash&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#BinanceSmartChain<\/a>&#8216;s journey towards scaling and mass adoption \ud83d\ude80<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re announcing the biggest growth fund in the history of crypto \u2013 the $1 billion fund to push the adoption of not only BSC but the whole blockchain industry.<br \/>\ud83d\udc47<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/lkTHmp8fRm\">https:\/\/t.co\/lkTHmp8fRm<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Binance Smart Chain (@BinanceChain) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BinanceChain\/status\/1447910399031095303?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 12, 2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The fund is divided into four categories:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Talent development programme ($100m);<\/li>\n<li>Liquidity incentive programme ($100m);<\/li>\n<li>Developer programme ($300m);<\/li>\n<li>Investment and incubation programme ($500m).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The final category targets funding for startups across various sectors, including gaming and VR\/metaverse apps.<\/p>\n<p>The Binance chief Changpeng Zhao said the new fund would accelerate global adoption of digital assets and make BSC &#8216;the first-of-its-kind blockchain ecosystem with a billion users&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Against this backdrop, the price of the Binance Coin (BNB) rose 7.7% in the last hour, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coingecko.com\/ru\"> CoinGecko<\/a>.
