Local media <a href=\"https:\/\/ufatime.ru\/news\/2021\/10\/11\/vkladchiki-finiko-iz-bashkirii-v-srednem-poteryali-po-300-tysyach-rublej\/\">report<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>According to a survey conducted by fund staff, the average loss among investors who approached them regarding Finiko amounted to 724 000 rubles, about 22% of clients lost more than 1 million rubles, 73% \u2014 more than 300 000 rubles. More than half of the victims took out loans to invest in the pyramid.<\/p>\n<p>The vast majority of respondents joined the project after the opening of the <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/in-tatarstan-a-pyramid-scheme-attracted-80-million-rubles-through-cryptocurrency-investments\">criminal case concerning the organization of the pyramid<\/a> in December 2020.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, a <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/co-founders-of-finiko-the-financial-pyramid-have-left-russia-authorities-issue-a-wanted-notice\">criminal case for fraud on a particularly large scale<\/a> has been opened against Finiko. It is being handled by the central office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs together with investigators from the Organized Crime Investigation Department.<\/p>\n<p>The founder of the pyramid <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/court-extends-pre-trial-detention-for-finiko-pyramid-founder-kirill-doronin\">Kirill Doronin<\/a>, Finiko&#8217;s &#8216;vice-presidents&#8217; Ilgiz Shakirov and Dina Gabdulina, and the &#8216;tenth star&#8217; Lilia Nuriyeva <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/court-in-kazan-extends-arrest-of-finikos-vice-president-ilgiz-shakirov\">are in pre-trial detention<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Co-founders Edward and Marat Sabirovs, as well as Zygmunt Zygmuntovich <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/media-co-founders-of-the-finiko-pyramid-scheme-have-been-declared-internationally-wanted\">have been placed on an international wanted list and arrested in absentia<\/a>. According to investigators, they left Russia via Belarus and may be in the United Arab Emirates.<\/p>\n<p>The total loss from Finiko&#8217;s activities, according to independent estimates, <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/finiko-pyramid-suspends-payouts-and-demands-users-personal-data\">exceeds $4 billion<\/a>.
