However, after three months the executive left the post, citing &#8220;different views on the strategic direction of development&#8221; as among the reasons for leaving.<\/p>\n<p>Founder Changpeng Zhao <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/media-brian-brooks-leaves-binance-us-amid-clash-with-changpeng-zhao\">allegedly disagreed<\/a> with Brooks&#8217;s proposed plan to address regulatory issues in the United States. The latter proposed appointing independent directors to Binance.US&#8217;s board, raising $100 million in capital to ensure the unit&#8217;s financial independence, and transferring Binance&#8217;s technology to servers located in the United States.<\/p>\n<p>Shroder <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/former-ant-group-and-uber-executive-named-president-of-binance-us\">was appointed<\/a> president of Binance.US in September 2021. Previously he led business development at Ant Group and oversaw the company&#8217;s operations in Southeast Asia. Before that, he held the position of head of Strategy and Business Development for Uber in the Asia-Pacific region.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;I look forward to the continued growth of our team as we expand our suite of products and services, taking the first steps on the path to IPO,&#8221; said Shroder.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Binance.US also said that chief financial officer Joshua Sroge will depart the company. His duties will be temporarily carried out by Eric Sigal.
