The project aims to become a leading cross-chain liquidity aggregator.<\/p>\n<p>In October, THORSwap will host a <span data-descr=\"Initial DEX Offering, primary offerings on a decentralized exchange\" class=\"old_tooltip\">IDO<\/span> of THOR tokens.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/defillama.com\/chain\/Thorchain\">DeFi Llama<\/a>, the total value locked in THORChain at the time of writing was $176.3 million.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in July, the THORChain protocol <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/thorchain-the-defi-project-hit-by-another-hacker-attack\">was subjected to a hacker attack<\/a>. The developers estimated the damage at about $8 million.
