According to the statement<\/a>, the fellowship in existential AI safety is intended for students who will continue to work on the topic in their PhD studies.<\/p>\n Annual funding over five years for the PhD programme will be $40,000, with an additional fund of $10,000 intended to cover research, travel and equipment expenses.<\/p>\n The second fellowship is for researchers at the stage after the PhD. It will amount to $80,000 per year, with the possibility of additional funding of up to $10,000.
