Among them is the launch of a new National AI Research and Innovation Programme, which should support efforts to improve coordination and collaboration among scientists.<\/p>\n<p>Another programme aims to develop artificial intelligence beyond London and the Southeast \u2014 the region that currently concentrates most of the country\u2019s companies and specialist organisations.<\/p>\n<p>The government also plans to channel more investment and resources into industries that have not yet fully embraced AI, such as energy and agriculture.
