Following the latest adjustment, the difficulty of mining the first cryptocurrency rose by 4.54%, to 18.42 T.<\/p>\n

Two weeks earlier, mining difficulty rose by 13.24%<\/a>. By the end of July, the metric had increased for the first time in two months \u2014 after peaking in May it had been falling steadily.<\/p>\n

Bitcoin’s hashrate is inextricably linked to its network hashrate, which has risen steadily over the past month. The average daily hashrate reached 146 EH\/s, below the May peak of 180 EH\/s.<\/p>\n

According to Glassnode analysts, daily miner revenues returned<\/a> to levels typical for July 2019, at $380,000 per EH<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Last week, amid Bitcoin’s rise above $50,000<\/a>, this category of market participants sold a total of 2,900 BTC.<\/p>\n
