The average for August was 68.4 (July: 26.3); the minimum was 42; the most frequent level was 70.<\/li>\n<li>Bitcoin and gold price movements remained divergent, though negative statistical correlation weakened (\u22120.21 vs \u22120.62 in July). Bitcoin\u2019s correlation with the S&#038;P 500 was 0.12, up from \u22120.15 in the previous month.
