This was reported by <a href=\\\"http:\/\/www.finmarket.ru\/news\/5540191\\\">\u00ab\u0424\u0438\u043d\u043c\u0430\u0440\u043a\u0435\u0442\u00bb<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\\\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\\\">\n<p>&#8220;They have a firm objective to tax, but we are not giving the go-ahead yet. I hope that in the autumn session we will make progress on this issue,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The official noted that he supports recognising cryptocurrencies as property for inheritance or division upon divorce, but the Bank of Russia does not support such a position.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\\\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\\\">\n<p>&#8220;The economy pushes for legal problems to be resolved alongside citizens&#8217; problems. If a person has cryptocurrency and dies, should the heirs receive it? Undoubtedly, they should,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Under the law &#8220;On Digital Financial Assets&#8221;, cryptocurrencies are recognised as property.<\/p>\n<p>In February, the State Duma <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/draft-cryptocurrency-taxation-law-approved-in-principle-at-first-reading-in-russia\">adopted in the first reading<\/a> a bill on taxation of crypto-asset operations. Earlier, the Council under the President of Russia on codification and improvement of civil legislation <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/russian-cryptocurrency-taxation-criticised-over-terminology\">criticised the document<\/a> due to terminology problems.<\/p>\n<p>Krasheninnikov <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/duma-says-cryptocurrency-legalisation-must-come-before-taxation\">noted<\/a>, that for introducing taxation of cryptocurrencies it is necessary to legalise transactions with them.
