Part of her interest was sparked by the buzz around the meme token Dogecoin, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2021-08-30\/naomi-osaka-tennis-superstar-and-investor-is-eyeing-cryptocurrencies?sref=AACmJ2tc\">Bloomberg<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;Actually I was just talking about cryptocurrencies with my agent. I know that their online presence is growing. I remember reading about Dogecoin,&#8221; she said in an interview with the publication.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Osaka noted that the ongoing chatter around the token, especially on Twitter, drew her attention even before her agent approached her with the idea of investing in digital assets.<\/p>\n<p>The 23-year-old athlete actively invests the earnings from her professional tennis career. In January 2019 she topped the world rankings in singles.
