Equipment was valued at 9.2 billion soums (about $860,000 at the time of writing), and the damage from illegally used electricity amounted to 265.2 million soums (over $25,000).<\/p>\n<p>The investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2019, miners in Uzbekistan have been required to pay for electricity at a triple tariff.
