Local media <a href=\"https:\/\/24.kg\/vlast\/204992_kabmin_ozabotilsya_kriptobirjami_hotyat_vvesti_gosudarstvennoe_regulirovanie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">report<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The document sets out the status, functions, rights and obligations of trading platforms, as well as a requirement for their mandatory registration in the Unified State Register.<\/p>\n<p>The project also provides for the exchanges&#8217; responsibility in countering the financing of terrorism and the laundering of criminal proceeds.<\/p>\n<p>According to Gosfinadzor, the rules being developed will reduce the risks for cryptocurrency holders and attract qualified investors and business to the market.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in November 2020, the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan began <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/kyrgyzstans-central-bank-proposes-regulating-cryptocurrency-firms\">drafting a normative-legal act<\/a> concerning the regulation of digital assets.<\/p>\n<p>In February 2021, the regulator said it intended <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/kyrgyz-central-bank-to-license-cryptocurrency-trading\">to license cryptocurrency exchanges and exchangers<\/a>.
