They must report on compliance by August 25.<\/p>\n<p>If enterprises fail to comply voluntarily, authorities will forcibly demolish the facilities. Law enforcement agencies will be mobilised to oversee the process.<\/p>\n<p>According to data from the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance, in April 2021 the share of Yunnan miners in the Bitcoin hashrate generated in China was 8.72%.<\/p>\n<p>In June the provincial authorities <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/yunnan-authorities-to-ban-cryptocurrency-mining-reports-say\">announced<\/a> plans to restrict cryptocurrency mining.
