They will also have access to educational content.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u00abOur global reach, experience in digital payments and knowledge of consumers and businesses, combined with strict security and compliance controls, give us a unique opportunity and responsibility to help people in the United Kingdom explore cryptocurrency\u00bb, \u2014 said Jose Fernandez da Ponte, PayPal&#8217;s Vice President.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The company provided access to digital assets in partnership with Paxos.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in March, PayPal <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/media-paypal-to-allow-paying-with-bitcoin-at-partner-merchants\">announced<\/a> a Checkout with Crypto service, which allows customers in the US to use cryptocurrency for payments.<\/p>\n<p>In April, the company <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/venmo-adds-support-for-bitcoin-ethereum-litecoin-and-bitcoin-cash\">added<\/a> the ability to buy and sell digital assets in the Venmo mobile service.<\/p>\n<p>In May, Jose Fernandez da Ponte <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/paypal-to-enable-withdrawal-of-cryptocurrencies-to-external-wallets\">stated<\/a> that PayPal is developing a feature to withdraw cryptocurrency to external wallets.
