Morgan Creek Capital will serve as co-manager of the strategy.<\/p>\n<p>The partner will handle market forecasting to increase or decrease the ETF&#8217;s risk exposure.<\/p>\n<p>The vehicle complies with the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Securities Act of 1933.<\/p>\n<p>The list of investable assets includes:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Regulated Bitcoin futures;<\/li>\n<li>ETPs, including ETNs, based on Bitcoin;<\/li>\n<li>short-term fixed-income instruments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The AdvisorShares Managed Bitcoin ETF does not involve direct purchases of Bitcoin.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, SEC Chair Gary Gensler <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/gensler-warns-of-tighter-regulation-for-defi-and-stablecoins\">stated<\/a> that the agency is open to considering proposals to launch Bitcoin-futures ETFs on the Chicago-based futures exchange.<\/p>\n<p>As reported, filings to launch Bitcoin ETFs, in line with regulator guidance, have been filed by <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/valkyrie-investments-files-for-bitcoin-futures-based-etf\">Valkyrie Investments<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/vaneck-files-for-bitcoin-strategy-etf\">VanEck<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/invesco-files-to-launch-bitcoin-etf-expert-surprised-by-the-circumstances\">Invesco<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sec.gov\/Archives\/edgar\/data\/1174610\/000168386321004445\/f9424d1.htm\">ProShares<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/galaxy-digital-applies-to-launch-a-bitcoin-futures-etf-under-the-1940-act\">Galaxy Digital<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Follow ForkLog on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/forklog\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Facebook<\/a>!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ETF provider AdvisorShares filed with the SEC to launch an actively managed Bitcoin-futures ETF.
