{"id":48030,"date":"2021-08-20T16:13:53","date_gmt":"2021-08-20T13:13:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/?p=48030"},"modified":"2025-09-02T00:13:12","modified_gmt":"2025-09-01T21:13:12","slug":"free-ton-developers-unveil-true-nft-technology","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/free-ton-developers-unveil-true-nft-technology\/","title":{"rendered":"Free TON developers unveil True NFT technology"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The TON Surf and RSquad teams <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/tonlabs\/True-NFT\">published<\/a> the code for a new solution called True NFT.<\/p>\n<p>The key differences of the technology are the storage of all data about <span data-descr=\"non-fungible tokens\" class=\"old_tooltip\">NFT<\/span> (including content) in the Free TON blockchain and the ability to search records about collections and tokens, as well as actions with them by sending standardised queries from smart contracts.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/youtu.be\/-0NS3FjbF9Y\n<\/div><figcaption>Online presentation of the True NFT technology (in English).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>True NFT enables interaction with tokens in decentralised browsers and applications using a single blockchain address, or to send NFTs with only the recipient&#8217;s address.<\/p>\n<p>According to the creators, the new technology should significantly ease trading and exchanging NFTs.<\/p>\n<p>When True NFT is used, the token&#8217;s owner information is included in its original data, making it possible to locate it during search. The data is placed in a separate non-deletable contract, thereby forming a kind of search index that is recreated when ownership changes.<\/p>\n<p>RSquad and TON Surf also introduced a set of additional smart contracts for searching NFTs and their owners, as well as for the main operations with tokens.<\/p>\n<p>The creation of True NFT was made possible in part by the Free TON architecture, which envisages broad use of contracts.
