{"id":48006,"date":"2021-08-20T13:58:20","date_gmt":"2021-08-20T10:58:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/?p=48006"},"modified":"2025-09-02T00:06:39","modified_gmt":"2025-09-01T21:06:39","slug":"argo-blockchain-to-list-on-nasdaq","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/argo-blockchain-to-list-on-nasdaq\/","title":{"rendered":"Argo Blockchain to list on Nasdaq"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The mining company Argo Blockchain has filed an application with the <span data-descr=\"U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission\" class=\"old_tooltip\">SEC<\/span> to list its American Depositary Shares (ADS) on the Nasdaq stock exchange.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">New RNS<\/p>\n<p>Argo is pleased to announce that it has filed a registration statement on Form F-1 with the US SEC relating to a proposed initial public offering of its American Depositary Shares (\u201cADSs\u201d), representing its ordinary shares, in the US. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/ARB?src=hash&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#ARB<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24ARBKF&#038;src=ctag&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$ARBKF<\/a><\/p>\n<p>1\/<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Argo (@ArgoBlockchain) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ArgoBlockchain\/status\/1428597721280262144?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 20, 2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The bookrunners for the issue are Jefferies and Barclays.<\/p>\n<p>It will trade under the ticker ARBK.<\/p>\n<p>The management will set the price range and the size of the ADS offering depending on market conditions.<\/p>\n<p>As of writing, Argo Blockchain&#8217;s market capitalization <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lse.co.uk\/SharePrice.asp?shareprice=ARB&#038;share=Argo-Blockchai\">is worth<\/a> 477 million pounds ($650 million). Since the start of the year, the shares have risen 3.78 times, while Bitcoin has risen 69.8%.<\/p>\n<p>During the first half of the year, the company <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/argo-blockchain-revenue-up-180-in-h1-2021\">mined<\/a> 883 BTC. At that time, Argo Blockchain owned 1,268 BTC.<\/p>\n<p>In June, Argo Blockchain secured a loan from Galaxy Digital <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/argo-blockchain-secures-galaxy-digital-loan-to-build-texas-mining-pool\">for the construction of a mining pool in Texas with a capacity of 200 MW<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In March, the company acquired in that state <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/argo-blockchain-buys-land-in-texas-for-new-mining-centre\">a parcel of land covering an area of 185 football fields<\/a> for the construction of a data centre.
