Since the start of August, trading volumes on the OpenSea NFT marketplace have reached $828.6 million. The Block reports this.<\/p>\n

According to the publication’s analysts, the figure stood at $125.2 million in June, rising to $284.2 million in July.<\/p>\n

Earlier, the platform announced support for the Klaytn blockchain<\/a> from the South Korean internet giant Kakao. The integration will enable non-fungible tokens based on Klaytn and synchronize accounts with the Kaikas wallet.<\/p>\n

In April, OpenSea representatives said the marketplace would use the Immutable X protocol<\/a>. This would completely remove NFT trading fees.<\/p>\n

In July, OpenSea raised $100 million<\/a> in a Series B funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz.<\/p>\n
