A positive response was given by 60.1% of crypto investors and 22.5% of those who do not own digital assets.<\/p>\n<p>Other reasons \u2014 the prospect of payments in digital assets by default, and using gains from crypto appreciation for large purchases \u2014 attracted slightly fewer positive responses.<\/p>\n<p>The option of a hypothetical loan to purchase a product attracted more than half of non-crypto investors and one in six crypto-asset holders.<\/p>\n<p>Sixty percent of cryptocurrency holders would be attracted by the possibility of discounts and loyalty points. Among those without digital assets, these shares were 22.8% and 21.5% respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Among non-crypto investors, three-quarters of respondents cited insufficient knowledge about the subject \u2014 how to buy digital assets and what tax implications may arise.<\/p>\n<p>The second most-mentioned reason was limited wider adoption of cryptocurrencies (33.3%). Other reasons included high volatility (25.2%), a &#8220;bad&#8221; investment (22.4%), unclear legal status (16.6%), and a lack of understanding of what digital assets are in principle (8.1%).<\/p>\n<p>In June, a survey of organisations found that two-thirds of current and former holders of digital currencies <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/survey-finds-93-of-americans-want-to-pay-with-cryptocurrencies\">acquired them to conduct transactions<\/a>, and 92.6% of coin holders would consider using them for purchases in the future. <\/p>\n<p>Subscribe to ForkLog&#8217;s channel on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCC9FnXTC8_ENzaNSO5cHQ6g\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"> YouTube<\/a>!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sixty percent of US digital asset holders say cryptocurrencies are suitable for everyday purchases, despite existing barriers.
