In 2021, the number of installed cryptocurrency ATMs grew by 71.73%, according to data from Coin ATM Radar<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As of writing, the number of devices had reached 24,030, up from 13,993 on January 1, 2021. Since the start of the year, more than 10,000 new Bitcoin ATMs were installed worldwide.<\/p>\n

New Bitcoin ATMs are now being installed at a rate of more than 52 units per day.<\/p>\n

The overwhelming majority of operating devices are in the United States \u2014 21,116 or 87.9% of the global total. In Canada there are 1,697 (7%) Bitcoin ATMs installed, more than in all of Europe.<\/p>\n

Among manufacturers, Genesis Coin and General Bytes dominate \u2014 their market shares stand at 40.9% and 24%, respectively.<\/p>\n

The top 10 operators control more than half of all operating Bitcoin ATMs (65.2%). Among the leaders \u2014 CoinFlip, Bitcoin Depot and CoinCloud \u2014 their shares exceed 10% of the total.<\/p>\n

In July, the operator Bitcoin Depot announced a partnership with Circle K, under which in Circle K stores in the United States and Canada will install Bitcoin ATMs<\/a>.<\/p>\n
