The company also said it registered the AI-written application with Rospatent.<\/p>\n<p>The algorithm has been trained on several programming languages. According to Sber representatives, the technology could spare developers from routine work.<\/p>\n<p>The company is considering offering access to the tool as a commercial service.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ai-homework\"><strong>AI to grade Russian schoolchildren&#8217;s homework<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>AI will be used to check the homework of Russian students. This is stated in the passport of the digital transformation of education strategy, prepared by the Ministry of Education.<\/p>\n<p>According to the document, the &#8220;Teacher&#8217;s Digital Assistant&#8221; service will automate homework checking, plan work programs, create a system for identifying and fostering talents, and raise the quality of teachers&#8217; participation in professional development courses.<\/p>\n<p>By 2030, the ministry expects that AI will check 50% of homework.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ford\"><strong>Ford will launch robotaxi in the United States in 2021<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Ford will create an autonomous-taxi service in Miami in 2021, and in Austin in 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Over five years, the company plans to roll out 1,000 autonomous vehicles across several markets, developed in partnership with ride-hailing firm Lyft and autonomous technology developer Argo AI.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, Ford and Argo AI are testing the autonomous fleet in Miami, Washington, Pittsburgh, Austin, Detroit and California.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"beachbot\"><strong>Netherlands startup creates robot that collects cigarette butts on the beach<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The Dutch startup TechTics has built BeachBot, which collects cigarette butts on a beach in The Hague. Each qubit is claimed to operate at an accuracy of 99.9%.<\/p>\n<p>The five-qubit processor is expected to appeal to customers including research labs and universities.<\/p>\n<p>The price of the Soprano quantum processor is not disclosed.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"snap\"><strong>Snap acquired a company to create 3D models of products<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Snap acquired the Vertebrae startup, which enables brands to create and manage 3D versions of products. Company representatives said the incident affected less than 1% of the network.
