{"id":45746,"date":"2021-07-08T13:15:50","date_gmt":"2021-07-08T10:15:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/?p=45746"},"modified":"2025-09-01T12:42:29","modified_gmt":"2025-09-01T09:42:29","slug":"sec-delays-skybridge-capitals-bitcoin-etf-application-review","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/sec-delays-skybridge-capitals-bitcoin-etf-application-review\/","title":{"rendered":"SEC Delays SkyBridge Capital&#8217;s Bitcoin ETF Application Review"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) extended the review period for SkyBridge Capital&#8217;s plan to launch a Bitcoin <span data-descr=\"exchange-traded fund\" class=\"old_tooltip\">ETF<\/span> to August 25, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Led by Anthony Scaramucci, SkyBridge Capital and consulting firm First Trust Advisors <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/skybridge-capital-and-first-trust-advisors-file-to-launch-a-bitcoin-etf\">filed an application to launch ETF based on the first cryptocurrency<\/a> in March. The listing of the fund&#8217;s shares was planned on the New York Stock Exchange.<\/p>\n<p>The regulator <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/sec-opens-review-of-bitcoin-etf-applications-from-fidelity-and-skybridge\">began reviewing the proposal<\/a> in May.<\/p>\n<p>According to the notice, the SEC received public comments on the application.
