This view was expressed by MicroStrategy CEO Michael Saylor on a podcast hosted by analyst Sven Henrich.<\/p>\n<p>The Bitcoin enthusiast urged buying the first cryptocurrency with money investors are prepared to lose. He advised against speculation and did not offer guidance on profiting from short-term trades in digital gold.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1520\" height=\"557\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/XlXxiDhP6bg\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>In the interview, Saylor said that regulatory hurdles pose the greatest threat to the crypto economy.<\/p>\n<p>The head of MicroStrategy remained optimistic about the long-term prospects of digital gold, citing continued fiat-money issuance.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cI see Bitcoin as the most widespread and strongest global monetary asset,\u201d<\/em> he explained.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Earlier Michael Saylor <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/microstrategy-ceo-calls-chinas-bitcoin-mining-crackdown-a-trillion-dollar-mistake\">called<\/a> the crackdown by Chinese authorities on miners &#8220;a trillion-dollar mistake&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>In June, MicroStrategy <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/microstrategy-buys-13005-more-btc\">purchased<\/a> 13,005 BTC, bringing the total number of coins controlled to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buybitcoinworldwide.com\/treasuries\/\">105,085 BTC ($3.66 billion)<\/a>.
