Its pools will be separated from other liquidity sources.<\/p>\n<p>Access will be granted to \u201cinstitutions, corporations and fintech firms\u201d that have passed Fireblocks\u2019 <span data-descr=\"know your customer\" class=\"old_tooltip\">KYC<\/span> procedures. For this, Aave V2 will integrate \u201cwhitelists.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The blockchain startup will also implement measures to combat money laundering and fraudulent practices.<\/p>\n<p>In the future, the institutional protocol will move to decentralized governance.<\/p>\n<p>The Blockworks portal event focused on the prospects for the DeFi industry and the barriers to adoption of new tools by professional players in traditional markets. It also featured Galaxy Digital CEO Mike Novogratz and Fireblocks cofounder Michael Shaulov.<\/p>\n<p>Following the announcement, the community split into two camps. Advocates noted that Aave Pro would give financial institutions deeper engagement with the DeFi ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p>Others recalled <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/lawsuit-filed-against-fireblocks-over-alleged-loss-of-38178-eth\">StakeHound&#8217;s lawsuit against Fireblocks<\/a>.
