{"id":4504,"date":"2017-12-29T21:47:19","date_gmt":"2017-12-29T18:47:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forklog.media\/?p=4504"},"modified":"2018-01-16T21:54:46","modified_gmt":"2018-01-16T18:54:46","slug":"russia-to-legalize-cryptocurrency-trading-on-approved-exchanges","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/russia-to-legalize-cryptocurrency-trading-on-approved-exchanges\/","title":{"rendered":"Russia to Legalize Cryptocurrency Trading on Approved Exchanges"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Following the presentation of a drafted bill to place regulations on the usage of cryptocurrency in Russia on December 28, a list of approved cryptocurrency trading platforms is being developed by the Russian Ministry of Finance.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Alexei Moiseev, Russian Deputy Finance Minister, told reporters that the Finance Ministry \u201csupports the legalization of trade in cryptocurrencies on official exchanges.\u201d According to Moiseev, the Finance Ministry \u201c[does] not want to limit and regulate, but we will set some limits.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Moiseev concluded that the bill is intended to make the crypto landscape in Russia more stable.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>\u201cThis is about the fact that buying and selling [of cryptocurrencies] will be somehow standardized. The general idea is that it will be necessary to buy and sell on official exchanges, as it will be declared, it will be legalized,\u201d <\/strong>Moiseev said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The bill responsible for the proposed legalization <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/forklog.media\/russia-may-legalize-cryptocurrency-exchanges\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">was originally conceptualized<\/a><\/span> in April of 2017, when the Russian government decided that an official bill containing laws regarding the regulation of cryptocurrency was necessary.<\/p>\n<p>The draft of that first bill was set to be reviewed in October.
