In Q3 2020, Amber Group launched a mobile app that has been downloaded by more than 100,000 users.<\/p>\n<p>The product lineup includes algorithmic trading, market-making services, high-frequency trading, over-the-counter trading, borrowing and lending, and derivatives.<\/p>\n<p>Four years after its founding, assets under management by the crypto-financial firm surpassed $1 billion, while the volume of completed trades reached $500 billion. At the start of the year, the latter figure had been half as large.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview with <a href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/news\/crypto-finance-company-amber-group-valued-at-1b-following-100m-raise\">Cointelegraph<\/a>, co-founder and CEO Michael Wu estimated Amber Group&#8217;s share of total activity across major spot and derivatives platforms at 2-3%.<\/p>\n<p>In June, Bitwise Asset Management <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/bitwise-raises-70-million-in-series-b-at-a-500-million-valuation\">attracted<\/a> $70 million at a $500 million valuation.<\/p>\n<p>In May, the crypto-financial services provider Babel Finance <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/babel-finance-raises-40-million-from-sequoia-capital-china-dragonfly-and-other-investors\">closed<\/a> a Series A round of $40 million.<\/p>\n<p>Subscribe to ForkLog news on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/forklog\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Facebook<\/a>!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Amber Group, a crypto-financial services provider, closed a Series B round for $100 million.
