The token is part of the <a class=\\\"tracking_link\\\" href=\\\"https:\/\/wavesducks.com\/#\\\" target=\\\"_blank\\\" rel=\\\"noopener noreferrer\\\">Waves Ducks<\/a> game. In it, users grow NFT ducks, breed them and receive unique tokens.<\/p>\n<p>Together with <a class=\\\"tracking_link\\\" href=\\\"https:\/\/waves.tech\/\\\" target=\\\"_blank\\\" rel=\\\"noopener noreferrer\\\">Waves<\/a> we explain where to obtain ducks, why to collect them and how to earn up to $41,000 a year from staking a single NFT.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\\\"wp-block-heading\\\">Waves Ducks rules and genesis-token creation<\/h2>\n<p><a class=\\\"tracking_link\\\" href=\\\"https:\/\/wavesducks.com\/#\\\" target=\\\"_blank\\\" rel=\\\"noopener noreferrer\\\">Waves Ducks<\/a> is a collectible blockchain game in which users assemble NFTs with images of ducks. The duck\u2019s appearance depends on its genotype.<\/p>\n<p>Genotype is the set of token attributes that includes:<\/p>\n<ul class=\\\"wp-block-list\\\">\n<li><strong>8 characters from A to H<\/strong>. They determine the shape of the head, eyes, beak and other parts of the body;<\/li>\n<li><strong>letters from G to Z<\/strong>. They show which generation the duck belongs to. For now the game supports generations up to the letter L;<\/li>\n<li><strong>symbols R, G, B and Y.<\/strong> They denote the background color: red, green, blue and yellow.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ways to create NFTs in Waves Ducks:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>send EGG tokens to the <a class=\\\"tracking_link\\\" href=\\\"https:\/\/wavesducks.com\/incubator\\\" target=\\\"_blank\\\" rel=\\\"noopener noreferrer\\\">incubator<\/a> \u2014 the smart contract for hatching ducks;<\/li>\n<li>breed two NFT ducks on the site <a class=\\\"tracking_link\\\" href=\\\"https:\/\/wavesducks.com\/#\\\" target=\\\"_blank\\\" rel=\\\"noopener noreferrer\\\">Waves Ducks<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The cost of issuing ducks increases with the number of NFTs in the game. At the time of publication, users pay 3.1 EGG to create a duck. These are ducks with the standard genotype:<\/p>\n<ul class=\\\"wp-block-list\\\">\n<li>with identical attributes such as AAAAAAAA or BBBBBBBB \u2014 all parts of the duck\u2019s body belong to the same collection;<\/li>\n<li>genesis generation identifier G. Waves will add new genotypes every few weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Details on genotypes, activities and EGG airdrops are available in the Telegram channel <a class=\\\"tracking_link\\\" href=\\\"https:\/\/t.me\/duckhunters_ru\\\" target=\\\"_blank\\\" rel=\\\"noopener noreferrer\\\">Waves Duck Eggs Hunters<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\\\"wp-block-heading\\\">Breeding, Trading and Staking Ducks<\/h2>\n<p>Users can create unique individuals by breeding ducks on <a class=\\\"tracking_link\\\" href=\\\"https:\/\/wavesducks.com\/#\\\" target=\\\"_blank\\\" rel=\\\"noopener noreferrer\\\">Waves Ducks<\/a>. These ducks inherit parts of their parents with a 50% probability. The generation indicator changes to the next letter of the alphabet. For example, breeding G- and K-ducks yields an NFT with generation L.<\/p>\n<p>Breeding ducks can be done once. Users buy perches for 1 EGG and place ducks with a specific background on them.<\/p>\n<p>Farm profit depends on the duck\u2019s uniqueness and the total number of ducks on perches. According to Waves, a duck with 100% uniqueness can earn up to 313 EGG per year. At the current EGG\/WAVES rate this equals $41,000.<\/p>\n<p>Waves calculates the uniqueness of a set using the formula: (1 \/ number of ducks with the same genotype) * 100%;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Example:<\/strong> a user bred ducks with genotypes AAAAAAAA and BBBBBBBB. They obtained an NFT with genotype ABAABBBB. The Waves Ducks script recorded the genotype in the format &#8220;3A5B&#8221;, and then checked the Waves blockchain and found three ducks with that genotype. The duck\u2019s uniqueness was: (1 \/ 4) * 100% = 25%.<\/p>\n<p>Users can trade ducks on the <a class=\\\"tracking_link\\\" href=\\\"https:\/\/wavesducks.com\/marketplace\/1?colors=G,Y,R,B,J&#038;generations=H,I,J,K,L,M,G&#038;breeding=&#038;rarityMin=1&#038;rarityMax=100\\\" target=\\\"_blank\\\" rel=\\\"noopener noreferrer\\\">\u043c\u0430\u0440\u043a\u0435\u0442\u043f\u043b\u0435\u0439\u0441\u0435<\/a> Waves Ducks. It automatically calculates the token\u2019s uniqueness and allows filtering ducks \u2014 by uniqueness, generation and breeding capability.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\\\"wp-block-heading\\\">Conclusions<\/h2>\n<p>Waves Ducks resembles CryptoKitties and other collectible blockchain games. It features standard tokens, genotypes and breeding. Yet Waves has made Waves Ducks more accessible: users can earn EGG for social-media activity for free.<\/p>\n<p>Duck farms will create a market for sterile parent ducks with low uniqueness, and allow players to earn from staking NFTs.
