ForkLog was provided with the information by the project team.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>The cornerstone of further development was the third hard fork in the mainnet, which occurred on June 14, 2021 at block #1,280,000. The update made possible the use of smart contracts (Shaders). In the future, the following is planned:<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<ul class=\\\"wp-block-list\\\">\n<li>Beam Web Wallet will be directly connected to Metamask, providing direct access to assets on the Ethereum blockchain;<\/li>\n<li>The wallet interface update will simplify working with addresses;<\/li>\n<li>The app will enable the exchange of confidential assets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>As part of preparations for the launch of BeamX, the project will shift to a decentralized governance system in the form of a decentralized autonomous organization \u2014 DAO Core, and will also create a marketplace of <span data-descr=\\\"decentralized applications\\\" class=\\\"old_tooltip\\\">dapps<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>In the fourth quarter or later, the Beam team plans to launch:<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<ul class=\\\"wp-block-list\\\">\n<li>inter-chain bridges;<\/li>\n<li>oracles;<\/li>\n<li>a stablecoin for the DeFi ecosystem.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>The project also intends to establish partnerships to implement automated market maker (AMM) and lending mechanisms.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>The continued development of the BeamX platform will be fostered by a grants system for dapp developers, with funding allocated according to the results of voting by the DAO Core community.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the Beam team <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/beam-developers-raise-2-million-from-investors\">raised $2 million<\/a> to develop the BeamX platform.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>Follow ForkLog news on <a href=\\\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/forklog\\\" target=\\\"_blank\\\" rel=\\\"nofollow noopener\\\">Facebook<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The developers updated the Beam blockchain roadmap and the launch of BeamX, the confidential DeFi infrastructure.
