In the last 24 hours the price of digital gold rose by 12%, according to <a href=\\\"https:\/\/www.coingecko.com\/ru\/%D0%9A%D1%80%D0%B8%D0%BF%D1%82%D0%BE%D0%B2%D0%B0%D0%BB%D1%8F%D1%83%D1%82%D1%8B\/%D0%B1%D0%B8%D1%82%D0%BA%D0%BE%D0%B8%D0%BD\\\">CoinGecko<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\\\"twitter-tweet\\\">\n<p lang=\\\"en\\\" dir=\\\"ltr\\\">This is inaccurate. In The Money Show podcast she said that the Tesla founder was manipulating the price of the first cryptocurrency.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\\\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\\\">\n<p>\\&#8221;What we\u2019re witnessing with Bitcoin is price manipulation by one very powerful and influential person,\\&#8221; added Wierzycka.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The CEO of Sygnia stressed that if Musk\u2019s tweets had concerned any publicly traded company, he would have come under the attention of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. <\/p>\n<p>According to her, the billionaire consciously pushed up the price of digital gold and, at the peaks, liquidated a large part of his position. His public statements, as well as <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/tesla-halts-bitcoin-car-sales-and-roils-the-market\">Tesla\u2019s statement that it would not accept cryptocurrency<\/a>, Wierzycka considers manipulations.<\/p>\n<p>Musk called the words of the head of Sygnia inaccurate. Data: <a href=\\\"https:\/\/ru.tradingview.com\/chart\/00O1pBoT\/\\\">TradingView<\/a>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In February 2021, Tesla <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/elon-musks-tesla-invested-1-5-billion-in-bitcoin-the-assets-price-rose-to-44800\">invested $1.5 billion in the first cryptocurrency<\/a>, and in March Musk <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/elon-musk-says-tesla-has-begun-selling-electric-cars-for-bitcoin\">announced the start of selling electric cars for Bitcoin in the United States<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In April the company <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/tesla-sold-part-of-its-bitcoin-holdings-for-272-million\">liquidated part of its position in digital gold<\/a> for $272 million.<\/p>\n<p>In May Tesla halted Bitcoin-based car sales and <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/tesla-sold-part-of-its-bitcoin-holdings-for-272-million\">crashed the market<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in June, hackers from the Anonymous group declared a &#8216;war&#8217; on Elon Musk.
