Bids will be in Hong Kong dollars, and the winner will be able to pay using cryptocurrency as well.<\/p>\n<p>Founded in 1796, Phillips added digital assets as a payment option amid rising client demand. Competitors have already begun accepting cryptocurrency.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Sotheby\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/sothebys-to-auction-banksy-painting-love-is-in-the-air-for-bitcoin\">listed for auction<\/a> Banksy\u2019s \u201cLove Is in the Air\u201d for Bitcoin. The lot sold <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/banksys-work-sold-for-12-9-million-at-a-crypto-friendly-auction\">for $12.9 million<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>An NFT of Morons\u2019 burned painting sold for 228.69 ETH (about $400,000 at the time of sale).<\/p>\n<p>The British auction house Christie\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/beeples-nft-sells-at-christies-for-69-3-million\">sold a Beeple NFT for $69.3 million<\/a>.
