As a result of the latest adjustment, the mining difficulty of the first cryptocurrency fell to 21.05 T. The BTC.com service forecasts a further drop of nearly 16% to 17.72 T.<\/p>\n

For most of May, the Bitcoin network’s hashrate showed negative momentum.<\/p>\n

The drop in hashrate began about a week before the news<\/a> that China planned to take tough measures against cryptocurrency mining and trading.<\/p>\n

Since the second half of May, the interval between blocks has consistently exceeded 10 minutes.<\/p>\n
