{"id":43346,"date":"2021-05-28T10:34:38","date_gmt":"2021-05-28T07:34:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/?p=43346"},"modified":"2025-08-31T03:13:27","modified_gmt":"2025-08-31T00:13:27","slug":"sec-opens-review-of-bitcoin-etf-applications-from-fidelity-and-skybridge","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/sec-opens-review-of-bitcoin-etf-applications-from-fidelity-and-skybridge\/","title":{"rendered":"SEC opens review of Bitcoin-ETF applications from Fidelity and SkyBridge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has begun reviewing applications from <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/skybridge-capital-and-first-trust-advisors-file-to-launch-a-bitcoin-etf\">SkyBridge Capital <\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/fidelity-files-to-launch-bitcoin-etf\">Fidelity Investments<\/a> for launching an exchange-traded fund (ETF) based on the first cryptocurrency.<\/p>\n<p>If approved, the first instrument will be listed on Cboe BZX, the second on the New York Stock Exchange.<\/p>\n<p>The SEC is expected to respond within 45 days.
