{"id":43264,"date":"2021-05-27T09:58:12","date_gmt":"2021-05-27T06:58:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/?p=43264"},"modified":"2025-08-31T02:52:20","modified_gmt":"2025-08-30T23:52:20","slug":"kyrgyz-authorities-seize-over-2000-mining-devices","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/kyrgyz-authorities-seize-over-2000-mining-devices\/","title":{"rendered":"Kyrgyz authorities seize over 2,000 mining devices"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan has identified illegal mining farms in Bishkek and the Chuy Region.<\/p>\n<p>Sputnik reports that the committee has also identified industrial facilities that illegally supply electricity for mining operations.<\/p>\n<p>A pretrial investigation has been initiated in connection with the case, and 2,000 devices have been seized for cryptocurrency mining.<\/p>\n<p>The committee noted that mining is causing significant damage to Kyrgyzstan&#8217;s power grids.<\/p>\n<p>In June 2020, Kyrgyzstan&#8217;s parliament passed in the third reading a bill to amend the Tax Code.
