This view was voiced by MicroStrategy Chief Financial Officer Phong Le, writes <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/phong-le-microstrategy-cfo-consensus-2021\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CoinDesk<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p> <em>\u00abIf you are not putting any of [free liquidity] into bitcoin, you are not fulfilling your <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/ru.xcv.wiki\/wiki\/Fiduciary\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>fiduciary duty<\/em><\/a><em>. You are not maximising shareholder value\u00bb<\/em>, \u2014 said the executive.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>According to Le, the obligation primarily falls on companies offering financial products based on digital gold.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u00abTo earn trust, you must go all-in \u2014 add bitcoin to your balance sheet. You do not necessarily need to move the entire reserve\u00bb,<\/em> \u2014 he explained.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>As of May 25, 2021, MicroStrategy owned 92,079 BTC worth more than $3.4 billion. Their average purchase price was $24,450.<\/p>\n<p>According to Bitcoin Treasuries, the share of bitcoin reserves in the market capitalization of the software vendor stands at 74%.<\/p>\n<p>In August 2020, MicroStrategy became the first among public companies <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/microstrategy-becomes-the-first-nasdaq-listed-company-to-invest-part-of-its-capital-in-bitcoin\">to invest in bitcoin<\/a>.
