{"id":4301,"date":"2017-09-21T20:26:38","date_gmt":"2017-09-21T17:26:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forklog.media\/?p=4301"},"modified":"2017-09-21T20:26:38","modified_gmt":"2017-09-21T17:26:38","slug":"russia-backs-off-the-cryptocurrency-regulation-rules","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/russia-backs-off-the-cryptocurrency-regulation-rules\/","title":{"rendered":"Russia Backs Off the Cryptocurrency Regulation Rules"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>According to Elina Sidorenko, the head of the Russian parliament\u2019s interdepartmental working group on cryptocurrencies, the country&#8217;s Parliament isn\u2019t going to review the bill on legalization of cryptocurrencies anytime soon.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Elina Sidorenko said that the state is not in need of any laws regulating cryptocurrency operations, despite at least two versions of the bill put on the table by her group.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, the existing working group on cryptocurrencies \u201cdoesn\u2019t see any prospect for the cryptomarket\u201d and \u201cis afraid to scare the market off \u201d by pushing its regulatory attempts.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>\u201cThe best thing for now is not to write the law altogether,\u201d<\/strong> Sidorenko stated.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The group is going to \u201cobserve the cryptocurrency market\u201d within next two or three months, she added.<\/p>\n<p>The law introducing cryptocurrencies to Russia\u2019s legal terrain<a href=\"http:\/\/forklog.media\/russia-to-consider-cryptocurrencies-a-digital-commodity\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\u00a0entered the development phase this sprin<\/span>g<\/a>. It was set to avoid any provisions on taxation and regulation of ICO.
