That view was expressed by Nobel Prize-winning economist and author of the bestseller Thinking, Fast and Slow, Daniel Kahneman in an interview with<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/books\/2021\/may\/16\/daniel-kahneman-clearly-ai-is-going-to-win-how-people-are-going-to-adjust-is-a-fascinating-problem-thinking-fast-and-slow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\"> The Guardian<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cHow people will adapt to it [artificial intelligence] is an interesting problem, but it concerns my children and grandchildren,\u201d the expert added.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Kahneman argues that human thinking is linear by nature and cannot quickly respond to exponential growth in technology. Humanity will face widespread disruptions as it adopts it, the expert added.<\/p>\n<p>In his view, artificial intelligence will replace many professions.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cClearly, some medical specialties are at risk of being replaced, especially in terms of diagnostics,\u201d Kahneman said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The expert added that artificial intelligence will cast doubt on human leadership qualities as it learns to make more measured decisions based on their effectiveness.<\/p>\n<p>In April 2021, machine-learning pioneer Michael I. Jordan <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/pioneer-of-machine-learning-stop-calling-everything-ai\"> urged against labeling everything as artificial intelligence<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In March, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said that in the next decade<a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/opinion-ai-will-create-enough-wealth-to-pay-every-american-13500-a-year\"> AI will create enough wealth to pay every American $13,500 a year<\/a>. To finance this, he proposed a 2.5% tax on corporations and land.<\/p>\n<p>Dan Wright, CEO of DataRobot <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/datarobot-ceo-calls-for-a-new-era-of-ai-democratization\"> urged for \u201cthe democratisation of artificial intelligence\u201d<\/a>.
