{"id":42616,"date":"2021-05-17T14:14:41","date_gmt":"2021-05-17T11:14:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/?p=42616"},"modified":"2025-08-31T00:01:48","modified_gmt":"2025-08-30T21:01:48","slug":"mike-novogratz-forecasts-ethereum-price-to-reach-5000","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/mike-novogratz-forecasts-ethereum-price-to-reach-5000\/","title":{"rendered":"Mike Novogratz forecasts Ethereum price to reach $5,000"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Galaxy Digital founder Mike Novogratz, in an interview with <a href=\\\"https:\/\/nymag.com\/intelligencer\/2021\/05\/bitcoin-billionaire-mike-novogratz-on-when-to-sell.html\\\" target=\\\"_blank\\\" rel=\\\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\\\">New York Magazine<\/a>, forecast Ethereum to rise to the $5,000 level.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, this is driven by a combination of three factors:<\/p>\n<ul class=\\\"wp-block-list\\\">\n<li>payments apps and stablecoins;<\/li>\n<li>decentralised finance;<\/li>\n<li>non-fungible tokens (NFTs).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote class=\\\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\\\">\n<p>&#8220;And you start to believe that this [Ethereum] will become a supercomputer that authenticates everything that happens. \u2026 I am almost 100% sure that this [Ethereum price rise] will occur \u2014 it&#8217;s just mathematics,&#8221; Novogratz explained.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He cautioned against making forecasts &#8216;at the top of the market&#8217;. Yet the investor is confident that Ethereum will reach the $5,000 mark.<\/p>\n<p>Novogratz also said that 85% of his portfolio is made up of cryptocurrencies. He urged investors to tread carefully and advised taking profits to buy a house, a car or at least a new cool jacket.<\/p>\n<p>On May 12, Ethereum <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/ethereum-price-hits-all-time-high-at-4350\">reached a new all-time high of $4350<\/a>.
