During the period from July 1 to December 31, the company received 2,313 government information requests.<\/p>\n<p>The overwhelming majority of requests (95.7%) related to criminal investigations. Of these, 54% were in the second half.<\/p>\n<p>Coinbase also noted that the number of requests from France rose by 20%.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in October 2020, the exchange published a transparency report for the first half of the year.
