Previous investors Declaration Partners, PayPal Ventures, Mithril Capital and others also participated.<\/p>\n<p>According to CEO Charles Cascarilla, the investments will allow the business to scale, including through acquisitions.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview with CoinDesk, the top executive said the event was not timed with the receipt of <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/paxos-secures-conditional-national-bank-license\">national bank license<\/a>, but reflected growing demand for Paxos\u2019s services.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cIt&#8217;s more about giving our partners confidence that we will have enough resources over a five-to-ten-year horizon, and that they will continue to rely on our infrastructure,\u201d<\/em> said Charles Cascarilla.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Founded in 2012, the startup provides services for <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/paypal-launches-bitcoin-buying-and-selling-for-us-users\">PayPal<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/venmo-adds-support-for-bitcoin-ethereum-litecoin-and-bitcoin-cash\">Venmo<\/a>, which opened for clients the ability to buy and sell cryptocurrencies.
