Bitcoin price quotes at the close were above $53,300.<\/p>\n<p>The first lot of 1.25 BTC drew 12 bids and was bought for $62,275, which yields a price of $49,820 per coin.<\/p>\n<p>The last lot of 1.75 BTC went under the hammer for $91,000 after 11 bids. The purchase price was $52,000 per bitcoin.
