They are demanding a ransom and threatening to expose informants, <a href=\"https:\/\/therecord.media\/ransomware-gang-threatens-to-expose-police-informants-if-ransom-is-not-paid\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u0438\u0437\u0434\u0430\u043d\u0438\u0435<\/a> The Record reports.<\/p>\n<p>The Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia confirmed unauthorized access to the server after screenshots of internal department files appeared on the attackers&#8217; site.<\/p>\n<p>The hackers stole investigation reports, personnel files, dossiers on local gangs, photographs of criminals and administrative documents.
