{"id":41393,"date":"2021-04-26T11:41:13","date_gmt":"2021-04-26T08:41:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/?p=41393"},"modified":"2025-08-30T18:36:03","modified_gmt":"2025-08-30T15:36:03","slug":"centre-blocks-seven-usdc-addresses-at-authorities-request","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/centre-blocks-seven-usdc-addresses-at-authorities-request\/","title":{"rendered":"Centre blocks seven USDC addresses at authorities\u2019 request"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Centre consortium behind the USDC stablecoin has added seven Ethereum addresses to its blacklist, according to data from <a href=\\\"https:\/\/duneanalytics.com\/queries\/5859\/11611\\\" target=\\\"_blank\\\" rel=\\\"noreferrer noopener\\\">Dune Analytics<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\\\"https:\/\/www.theblockcrypto.com\/linked\/102761\/centre-consortium-blacklisted-seven-usdc-addresses-wednesday\\\" target=\\\"_blank\\\" rel=\\\"noreferrer noopener\\\">The Block<\/a>, Centre took this step after receiving a corresponding request from law enforcement authorities.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\\\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\\\">\n<p><em>\u201cThe consortium enforces court orders that are binding on the organization, and cannot provide explanations\u201d<\/em>, the publication said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The current blacklist is the second in the history of the stablecoin.
