{"id":41007,"date":"2021-04-19T18:21:51","date_gmt":"2021-04-19T15:21:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/?p=41007"},"modified":"2025-08-30T16:48:27","modified_gmt":"2025-08-30T13:48:27","slug":"coingecko-unveils-nft-spotlight-platform-for-artists","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/coingecko-unveils-nft-spotlight-platform-for-artists\/","title":{"rendered":"CoinGecko unveils NFT Spotlight platform for artists"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The cryptocurrency data platform CoinGecko has launched NFT Spotlight, a platform for NFT creators to engage with the crypto community, the company said in a press release.<\/p>\n<p>The aims of NFT Spotlight, according to the service, are:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Democratisation of art valuation\u2014the backstory of the creative process will enable people to gauge the author&#8217;s contribution to the work;<\/li>\n<li>Help artists engage with users via the CoinGecko community;<\/li>\n<li>Expanding the audience of potential NFT owners.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The service noted that the third item involves distributing three tiers of non-fungible tokens: legendary, rare and ordinary. The latter two will grant access to artworks to members of the CoinGecko loyalty programme.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.coingecko.com\/en\/nft_spotlight\/1-sven-eberwein\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">the first artist<\/a> Sven Eberwein joined NFT Spotlight. A work tied to this event was put up for auction on the OpenSea platform.
