This is stated in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sec.gov\/edgar\/search\/#\/q=bitcoin&#038;dateRange=custom&#038;entityName=Rothschild&#038;startdt=2021-04-15&#038;enddt=2021-04-15\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">filing<\/a> for Form 13F with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">In an SEC filing today, Rothschild Investment Corporation reported owning 38,346 shares of GBTC. <\/p>\n<p>In January, it reported owning 30,454 shares. <\/p>\n<p>Today&#8217;s filing also reported 265,302 shares of Grayscale ETH Trust. In January 2021, that number was 30,454.<\/p>\n<p>The filing also lists a position in the Grayscale Ethereum Trust \u2014 265,302 shares.<\/p>\n<p>In 2017, Rothschild Investment Corporation purchased GBTC shares for $210,000. Later, media reports stated that the corporation is not affiliated with the Rothschild dynasty.<\/p>\n<p>The total assets under management in Grayscale Investments <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/grayscales-assets-under-management-exceed-50-billion\">$50.6\u00a0billion<\/a>.
